Rounded Layout Question

So I am quite new to digital scrapbooking and have been playing in PSE 4 with some goodies I downloaded. I was cruising along and relatively happy with the results until I wanted to round the corners of my entire layout (the 12x12 foundation). I tried using the cookie cutter function with the rounded square, but those rounded corners were much too drastic. I know there must be a way to do this, but I can't seem to figure it out. So I ended up using a grungy edge around the layout . . . but it is just not working for me. Here it is:

Anyone up for helping a girl learn to round the corners?? Thanks much. Oh, and feel free to give me any other pointers here, too. I'm still learning all the drop shadow business and such (so don't look too closely at this layout :eek: )!!

Can't help you with the answers (just a digi newbie, too, pretty much) but wanted to say that I love your LO -- the ribbon, embellies, etc are great -- it looks more real than digi :)

I cheated and on CS I just made my own rounded corner brush and then use it in the eraser mode.
I like the grungy edges, it reminds of how cotton candy gets all gooey and sticky when there is humidity in the air!

So turns out I decided to leave the "sticky", pink glitter edge, but got rid of the white grunge layer . . . and then rounded the corners. I like the rounded corners . . . thanks for passing along the tip, April. I really need to spend some time in your tips section :) . Next time I'll check there before asking LOL!! Thanks for the nice compliments, ladies. Slowly I'm getting a wee bit more confident on the digital page . . . but feel like I've got tons to learn. So nice to be able to do it with the pros here!!

I don't mind at all. I think it's actually good to ask here sometimes because it give others ideas. You did great with the rounded corners and I like how you left that pink edge!!
