I'm finally back from PMA. PMA is a huge international convention and trade show for the photography industry. I really enjoyed seeing the show for my first time. The booths are huge and I loved seeing how the booths were designed. We were busy so I didn't get to look at much but I did take some time before the show started one day to photograph some of the booths so you could see a little of what I saw.

The pictures I took aren't necessary of my favorite companies (although I do love some of them). These pictures are just to give you an idea of what the trade show is like and to give you a little glimpse of what I saw.

Here is a picture of my beloved Canon...
I didn't even step in their booth because of time restrictions so don't ask me what's new.

Here are Katja and Mindy (two totally amazing people) in front of the Crumpler booth. Unfortunately it's a terrible picture but the booth was really cool. We all LOVED their products and the staff was pretty fun. Their booth was unreal. It was made out of recycled cardboard (is that the right word Mindy, Katja or Jessie?). They even had chairs made out of that material. It was too cool. Their carpet was astroturf. Shaggy astroturf. Too funny.

GE was had a huge section. This picture doesn't show you everything. They had an oven in their booth and made cookies for the people looking at their cameras. I loved the design of their booth. The booth changed colors throughout the day.

Kodak had a big booth too. This picture doesn't do them justice. They had a really big display you saw as you walked in.

Nikon had a lot of classes that would have been fun to attend. Katja got to a couple of them. The classes were in front of a big screen and you sat on the fun yellow squares you see in the picture.

Noritsu is a company I love because their prints are incredible. You may not have heard the name before but you have all had pictures printed on their machines.

Just another example of a big cool booth. Remember they set these huge displays up for only 3 1/2 days.

I don't know who Sigma is but I loved the circle in the middle with the woman's face. I thought it looked cool plus when you walked up close you could see every detail on her face. Whatever they sell is high quality. It was an amazing picture.

Here was another big booth with a name you'd recognize.

There were some other booths with some really great designs I never got pictures of as well as plenty of companies with really cool products. I just didn't have time to get around and really look at everything. I just wanted to quickly document how big this show was.

Now... the best booth by far was Digital Scrapbook Memories. They spent a couple hundred thousand less on their booth than some of the other companies but the products are great!:) Here are Jessie, Mindy and Katja being wanna be Chalie's Angels and making me laugh. I should have taken different pictures of what our booth looked like from other angles. It was hard work at the show but extra fun with these three. It was also very exciting to work the show because we talked to a lot of exciting people and companies and you'll be able to see a lot more of our products in lots of places by the end of the year.

YAY! We are so cute :)
Oh and you can kind of see that crazy dude in the crumpler booth! He had on this fabulous yellow suit with striped suspenders and yellow crocs! And of course he was Aussie so also had a fabulous accent!

I agree - it is seriously astounding the amount of money that is put into a single booth for these shows!!!
