Hi Guys, I just noticed this board, hope you dont mind if I jump in! Ive started shooting weddings and family (location) pictures about two years ago. I never had any intention on getting into photography semi-professionally, it just kinda happened. I still only take jobs occasionally as I still have lots to learn..

Right now im shooting with the canon Rebel XT 300- Possibly might upgrade this summer with my money from the two weddings IM doing. Any recommendations- 30D-5D?

Thanks! :)

I have heard some really great things about those BetterPhoto classes. I think I heard the understanding exposure class was the best by the guy that wrote that book. I think he might have his own website now where he teaches that class... I can't remember what it is though. I would love to take one of those classes too.

How exciting that you get to upgrade. Quite a few of us have the 30D and love it. I'm sure the 5D would be awesome but my guess is if you are semi-pro you won't need it because you will be able to do so much with the 30D.

Show us some pictures!
