You can use photoshop... in just about any version. A LOT of peripherals for your computer come with Adobe Photoshop Elements and that's a good place to start. I use Microsoft Digital Image Suite and it's an easy and intuitive program. You can learn more about it here:

Sam's wholesale club usually has a pretty good price on DIS and Elements...
:D Welcome to digital... it's so much fun! :D

There are lots of great programs but I would recommend Adobe Photoshop Elements because we can provide you with the most help if you have that program. Other programs are great though so you'll be fine which ever way you go.

Welcome to the board! Post your first scrapbook page when you get it done.

I'm telling you... I AM going to sit down with those tutorials and break my digital Image Suite addiction if it kills me... LOL :)
My text on a path isn't working in DIS so now is probably as good a time as ever to start... eh?!?!? :)

Photoshop Elements & the tutorials on this website are the ABSOLUTE BEST things for getting going in this! Any version of Photoshop Elements can do the trick. The full version of Photoshop isn't necessary and can be overwhelming to a first-time user. Also, don't forget to check the listings for the FREE EVENTS and see if you can come to one. However you get it going, it's all worth it in the end! You'll LOVE digital scrapbooking, especially with Digital Scrapbook Memories stuff!
good luck, and don't give up!

Kelly- I also use MDIP :) and vow to one day go over to the dark side, if it kills me!

?- DO you know of any photo actions that work in MDIP (other than Virtual Photographer)
