I thought it was really creative how she used these embellishments from the Moods CD.

I love how Holly cut the middle of the circle on the left out and used it as a frame. Very creative! I'm not sure if the picture is above or below... it doesn't really matter but I think the easiest way to make this look nice would be to cut your picture into a circle stroke it with a thin black line then put it on top of the embellishment.

I also loved Holly’s idea to layer the two embellishments shown on the right. If you look at the layout you'll see how she added a blue circle with a black stroked line on a layer below the orange embellishment and a tan circle on a new layer just above the orange. She also re-sized the kisses embellishment so it would fit the way she wanted.

For those of you that don't know how to stroke...

You can stroke anything on a layer or you can use the marquee tools to define a place to stroke. For the blue circle with the black stroke Holly created a new layer (ask if you don't know hoe to do that) then she used her marquee tool to create the size of circle she wanted then she used the paint bucket to fill the circle. Next she simply clicked on edit then stroke. When the stroke pop up box came up she chose the color black and probably used a pixel size of about 20.
