Im getting closer to purchasing it and was hoping maybe someone could answer a few questions :)

RIght now I have the 300D XTI and what Im look for with the 5D is

Faster (Shutter Speed) (Think Toddlers)
Higher ISO for not so pleasent lighting conditions (Weddings-Churches)
Higher MP so that I can crop without losing much of the quality in a jpeg

*If you have the 5D would you say I would be happy with the above?

Anyother feedback would be appreciated... ;)

I LOVE mine:D I never use a flash..even at weddings if I can avoid it. The grain is minimal even at the highest ISO. It is great!

I'm still wondering about this too. Did you find any more answers Alicia? If my 30D is a million times better than my point and shoot I'm wondering if a 5D would be tons better than a 30D since it's thousands more (isn't it?).

I have the 5D and I love it! It performs wonderfully at high ISO's, beautiful color, and just all around such a wonderful camera! I ended up waiting a year before buying a camera, saving all my pennies for this camera. It was totally worth it! I also love the extra focus points!

The only drawback is the kind of lens you buy with it is very important. It really performs it's very best with the more expensive "L" glass. I tried my 50mm 1.8 with it and it looked awful, the edge vingette was bad! I've heard that the 50mm 1.4 and the 85 1.8 work well with it and are more affordable. I ended up getting an "L" lens, the 85mm 1.2L and although it's expensive, it doesn't vignette at all, even with low apertures. I also tried the 24-70L with it at one point, which does vignette a bit at low apertures but is also a beautiful lens. After paying for it all, I ended up getting insurance on them as well. I hope this helps with your decision!
