My name is Amber, I live in Boise, ID currently down in SLC for some medical treatments for my son! April and Keith have been so wonderful to us! (Thanks You BOTH)

I have been a paper scrapper for years however I haven't had the chance to do much of it in the past 7-8 months and I now can learn digital scrappin' with all of you! I am very excited to learn how to do this! Please forgive me in advance if I ask silly questions and such!

In anycase, I am happy to be here and thankful for meeting April and Keith and hope to meet the rest of you sometime!

Thanks,
Amber

Amber, Welcome to Utah. I wish you could be here for another reason than medical treatments for your son. I am April's sister and have heard about you and your cute son from her and Keith. I even got to see pictures from the birthday party. I am excited for you to start digital scrapbooking. I am one of April's teachers. You can ask me any question you need. Will you be at the next event?

Welcome Amber!
I'm kindof new too. But you'll get the hang of it really fast. The forum and the free classes are a huge resource. I'm April's sister too, by the way. I am excited to meet you!!

Welcome Amber... Don't be afraid to ask questions because i thought that i was asking stupid questions and then someone told me that they were glad i asked a certain question because it helped them out too. So ask away. :)

Hey Amber, it is good to see you made it here. Trust me, you can ask any question you want. And this is a pretty new board so there are good chances that what you ask has never been covered, and it would be great to have your question and any answers posted here for others to see. So seriously post away, and see what you can learn.

Digital Scrapbook Memories has free digital classes every month just to cater to those people who are new to digital and wanting to learn. I am sure that there are a lot of those "lurkers" who would really benefit from some of the basic questions.

I want to see a page done using Zach's pirate photo. So get to work :)

Well It's DONE! REALLY BASIC.. I need to learn the resize pictures and alignment stuff, I tried to use the ruler and grid, but thats more of a pain in the rear to me especially when I know I have the other feature in Adobe 5.0,
So, the page is by far NOTHING SPECIAL!

Now I need to look at my camera and fix the grain in the pics. I called the camera shop (emailed to me) and they gave me 2 suggestions however they don't sell my camera there.. (Figures, I have such luck) LOL

Lemme know about the page! LOL

To everyone, thank you for the warm welcome! I hope to meet you all soon as well...

I am going to be scrapping in the hospital as well, so I'll be posting lots of silly, dumb, mistakes of pages. The way I look at is if I don't know, how can I get better! I am all about LEARNING, so let the learning begin!

Thanks for your kindness!

This is Awesome, I can call a friend and say, hey you wanna scrap tonight, Sure lets do it, I show up w/ only my computer in hand... I can see the faces now! LOL

What a great thing this D. Scarpin is!

THANK YOU VERY MUCH APRIL & KEITH
