Your Favorite Ornament

This Challenge will go for a few weeks, but I want to challenge everyone to make a layout about their favorite ornament or Christmas decoration. Please include a story behind the ornament or decoration, and of course you can have more than one favorite!

I am excited to see what everyone comes up with.

that might have to wait until next year. All my ornaments are packed away....sad i know. Just lights on the tree this year (the boys would have pulled them all off anyways)

OH KELLI! I am so sad.

It's okay. I have so many ideas for my layout but my favorite ornament is at home and I am not. So that is another reason that I had to extend the contest so I could play too!

Exactly... I was at their wedding and stalked them all night taking scary pictures. They didn't even know me back then... Good thing I got that shot though. I look at it and say "Wow now that's awesome"

My Christmas stuff is put away, and I didn't make a page but I wanted to put a picture of my favorite ornament anyway. This is one of those things that I look at and just feel something, you know? No matter how many times I see it, I still love it.

Kelli (or any one else with little ones), two suggestions for those years when you have small little wandering hands. A small platform to place the tree on seems to help keep it up a little more out of reach AND we save our old Christmas cards and cut the fronts out in ovals (or any other shape) then punch holes around outside edge and string color yarn through the holse to spruce up the edges.

Inexpensive and easy and if an ornament bites the dust, very easy to replace.
