2008 Official Rules
Participants must follow all rules to be eligible to win prizes.

1. Each participant must complete scrapbook layouts for at least five of the different challenges (listed below) on or before September 5, 2008 at 11:59 p.m. MST.
   
2. Each layout should be created specifically for this contest and should be the participant’s sole work (not including pictures). Participants may copy other people’s ideas if credit is given back to the original designer.
   
3. Each layout must be created predominantly using Digital Scrapbook Memories CDs. CDs are available for purchase at many scrapbook stores including most Michaels and Hobby Lobby stores. CDs are also available on this website.
   
4. All participants must upload their completed layouts into a new album on their profile page. Participants should title this new album “Digi Olympics”.
   
5. Once a participant has completed at least five challenges, they must post in the “Going for the Gold” thread. Digital Scrapbook Memories will randomly draw gold, silver and bronze medal winners to receive our grand prizes. The grand prize winners will be selected from all of the participants that complete these rules.

Select a challenge from any of the following categories. Click on that category to see the challenge associated with that sport.

• Diving

• 100 Meter Race

• Archery

• Wrestling

• Sailing

• Tennis

• Triathlon

• Weightlifting

• Cycling

• Pole Vault

• Synchronized Swimming

• Gymnastics

• Rowing

• Baseball, Basketball or Soccer

Bonus: Marathon

If you want to play along without following the rules, you are more than welcome to. You won’t be eligible for a prize but it will be fun having you play with us anyway.

Grand Prizes:

Gold: Adobe Photoshop CS3 for Windows
This prize will be awarded to the first name drawn from a list of those who complete all the rules.

Silver: Prize package worth no less than $75 US.
This prize will be awarded to the second name drawn from a list of those who complete all the rules.

Bronze: Prize package worth no less than $50 US.
This prize will be awarded to the third name drawn from a list of those who complete all the rules.


Additional Prizes:

Creativity Contest
Three people will be selected to be gold, silver and bronze medal finalists in each challenge area. These finalists will be announced on or before September 8th. These finalists will be those the Digital Scrapbook Olympic Committee feels has created the best overall pages in each category. These finalist’s pages will be displayed in an Olympic gallery and will be entered in a drawing to win one of three prize packages (a mini album and a Digital Scrapbook Memories CD).

Marathon Gold Medalist
Anyone who completes the marathon will be entered into a drawing to win a Digital Scrapbook Memories CD and mini album.

I'm looking for the GOING FOR GOLD thread--I'm really a Marathon type of person, but thought I should post my first five now.

I'm in this for the DURATION, this is such a fun time on the forum and seeing all of these great layouts is just rewarding! Keep up the good work girls
