ok, so my one picture isnt that great. I have not taken the time to take a nice picture of it. I saw the idea on a craft blog that i found through several links and for the life of me can not remember the blog. So thanks to the lady that gave this idea. She bought the vintage santa cards but i didnt want to spend that much, so i searched the internet for vintage santa claus pictures and made my own cards in ps. I bought the black picture frames from walmart for $3, you read that right. They look nice
just used scrapbook paper that looked nice for the background. Then i got the brackets(they will hold the word christmas) from hobby lobby and attached them to the paper with brads. then you hot glue the clothes pin on....side note- i wanted to paint the clothes pin black but ran out of time. I also would prefer smaller clothes pins but couldnt find any but the regular size. so anhoo, if you want to download the cards i made email me at kelli.west@gmail.com and i will send them to you. NOTE TO YOU ALL, 2 of the pictures arent mine. I just am showing you what i found first. ***oh and one more thing, i put the numbered cards that are not being used at the time just in a SNACK sized sandwich bag and hot glued it on the back of the frame just at the top.

That's a very cute idea Kelli! I love that you were so smart and just used photoshop to make those Santa cards
I have a brand new treadmill! I've only used it a handful of times but I'm *hoping* now that the break is over I can get into a better routine with it. I got my husband a new suit and an RC helicopter... Made (with the help of my friend, since I don't really sew) pillow "pals" for my kids... among other things. They got spoiled! |
